Terms and Conditions
     
  1. Entry into the competition shall be deemed to be full and unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions.
  2. Entry is limited to one entry for each 3rd and 4th class and the closing date for entries for the competition is December 7th 2012.
  3. Upon successful completion of the four-week challenge, a winning school will be selected in each area and will automatically be entered into the final of the Lidl Fit Factor, as well as receiving €500 in vouchers to spend with McLoughlin Sports and €500 in Lidl.
  4. The prize is non-transferable.
  5. The overall winning school will be chosen by an impartial judging panel and will receive €5,000 in vouchers to buy sports equipment for their school from McLoughlin Sports.
  6. The school chosen in 2nd place will receive a prize of €3,000 to be spent on sports equipment from McLoughlin Sports.
  7. The school chosen as 3rd prize winners will receive €2,000 voucher to be spent on sports equipment from McLoughlin Sports.
  8. The decision of the judging panel is final.
  9. The winning school must agree to take part in publicity in connection with the competition.
  10.  Lidl Ireland GmbH and the Irish Heart Foundation reserve the right to withdraw or amend this competition in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control.
  11.  Lidl Ireland GmbH and the Irish Heart Foundation reserve the right to terminate or temporarily suspend this competition in the event of technical or other difficulties that might compromise its integrity. 
  12. There will be no communication exchange or correspondence in relation to any dispute arising from a termination or cancellation of the Lidl Fit Factor.
  13. Lidl Ireland GmbH, the Irish Heart Foundation and their agents accept no responsibility for difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this competition.
  14. This competition and these terms are governed by Irish law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
  15. Information on the Lidl Fit Factor materials is intended for educational purposes only. This information is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice. You should always seek the advice of a physician or other qualified health provider before beginning any exercise program.
  16. Teacher’s should be advised that the physical activity module should be adapted for children according to their fitness levels and health condition.
  17. All content within the Lidl Fit Factor materials is provided for general information only, and should not be a substitute for the advice of your own doctor or any other professionals working within the sport and fitness domain. Neither Lidl Ireland GmbH nor the Irish Heart Foundation is responsible or liable for any actions taken as a result of reading this information. We urge anyone who is considering taking up exercise for the first time to seek the advice of your doctor or physician before you commence exercising. If you feel any discomfort during exercise you are advised to stop your activity and seek professional advice immediately.
  18. Acceptance of the terms and conditions of this Agreement does not include indemnification of Lidl Ireland GmbH against any losses, claims, expenses (including legal expenses reasonably incurred), costs or award which the participant may now or hereafter be liable to pay, incur or sustain in connection with this Agreement or activities carried out under the terms of this Agreement by the participant or any person under the direction or control of the participant.
  19. Upon registration to the Lidl Fit Factor, I accept that my information will be stored by Lidl  Ireland GmbH and processed for the purpose of my Lidl Fit Factor subscription. Lidl herby ensures that all personal data is dealt with in adherence to Data Protection legislation.  Lidl may use your personal information to contact you with news or updates regarding the Lidl Fit Factor. Your personal data is not used for any other purposes other than those stated and is not shared with any third parties.
