Each finalist submitted a creative and imaginative project based on the statement ‘Healthy eating and physical activity for heart health – what the Lidl Fit Factor taught us’ as well as a recipe based on healthy eating principles covered in the Lidl Fit Factor Toolkit.  

The winners were chosen based on 60 percent the decision of the independent judging panel consisting of Kevin McLaughlin, Ireland and Leinster Rugby; Derval O’Rourke, Irish Sprint Hurdles Athlete; Michael Conlan, Full Time Amateur Boxer and Olympic Bronze Medalist and Janis Morrissey, Irish Heart Foundation Dietician. The other 40 percent came from online votes cast during the competition.
